Overview

extraDisp is a local screen-streaming application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

License activation: When you activate your license key, we store a hashed machine identifier and your email address on our server. This is used solely to validate your license and limit activations to 2 machines per key.

Payment: Payments are processed by PayPal. We receive your email address and transaction ID from PayPal. We do not store credit card numbers or financial details.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Screen content - all streaming happens directly between your PC and phone on your local network
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or any personal files
• Browsing history

Network Communication

The Windows server and Android app communicate directly over your local network (WiFi or USB). No screen data passes through our servers. The only external communication is the one-time license activation check.

Android Permissions

• INTERNET - Connect to the Windows server on your network
• ACCESS_NETWORK/WIFI_STATE - Discover server via mDNS
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE - Keep connection alive in background
• WAKE_LOCK - Prevent screen timeout during use
• BOOT_COMPLETED - Auto-start service after reboot (optional)

Third-Party Services

We use PayPal for payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment transactions: paypal.com/privacy

Data Retention

License activation records are kept for as long as your license is valid. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.
